Issue 4: The Liberty Bell

Issue 4 is about The Liberty Bell. This is my first attempt at more of a story line than just a pure time line of significant facts/events. This story is told from the perspective of a Grandpa penguin and his granddaughter penguin named Penny visiting the Liberty Bell in modern times and the Grandpa telling the history of the Liberty Bell.

Issue 3: The Endurance Expedition

Issue 3 is about The Endurance Expedition. It portrays the basic time line of the expedition from leaving London to getting stuck in the pack ice to the crew all being rescued.

Issue 1: Jackie Robinson

Issue 1 of Penguin History Comics features Jackie Robinson in honor of today being the anniversary of his first appearance in the Major Leagues back on April 15, 1947. This issue's scenes include penguin Jackie Robinson at his first at bat, penguin ballplayers wearing 42 for Jackie Robinson Day, and penguin fans admiring the giant 42 sculpture in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda being dedicated at the New York Mets new Citi Field today.
