Issue 1: Jackie Robinson

Issue 1 of Penguin History Comics features Jackie Robinson in honor of today being the anniversary of his first appearance in the Major Leagues back on April 15, 1947. This issue's scenes include penguin Jackie Robinson at his first at bat, penguin ballplayers wearing 42 for Jackie Robinson Day, and penguin fans admiring the giant 42 sculpture in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda being dedicated at the New York Mets new Citi Field today.
